Loving, Within

The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely” - Carl Gustav Jung; Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself.  ~Harvey Fierstein; It is the chiefest point of happiness that a man is willing to be what he is.  ~Desiderius Erasmus;  You were born an original.  Don't die a copy.  ~John Mason

As you can see from the famous quotes above, truly loving ones' self has been a topic for years.  Have you ever (if just for a moment) compared your success with someones else.  Did you then feel like your accomplishments weren't good enough?  Or did you have someone in your life that possessed all these amazing gifts within and you wondered why you didn't have them?  "I'm too short, I'm not as smart, I'm not as social, I wish I was more assertive, I wish I stood out in crowds"

Enough is Enough!  Stop comparing yourself, amongst yourself!  God created you to be exactly how He wanted you to be.  To question why or why not is saying that a mistake was made in your creation and He doesn't make them.
Sometimes we are so critical of ourselves, that our opinions becomes our truths (so to speak).  When in actuality the truth is you are amazing, you have all the necessary gifts inside to complete any task brought your way, and if you don't then you definitely have someone in your circle that does.  You are made in the image of the Most High!  You love and are loved.  Continue to look at yourself in a positive light.  Stop comparing yourself with others.  They are an original and so are you, so you aren't suppose to be the same!  So go on with your wonderful life never to wonder if you are good enough or if others think of you as the same.  Aren't you glad that there is only one true judge! Until next time, Ciao for now!

  1. Wow, you're so Speaking to Me on this one. I just talked with hubby about this the other day. I was like, " I look at where I am compared to others and I'm like what have I accomplished!" Howevera. If I look at it from a more Positive viewpoint I'm where A lot of people aren't. I've accomplished more than others!! We are indeed our own Worst Critics!! This is something I struggle with often, but with anything I take it one day at a time!! Thanks for posting!!

    1. Thanks so much for reading! This was a struggle within myself as well, so once I was healed from this I felt I needed to share it with others. Thanks again for the encouragement.
